What it covers
A760 is an assessment for one or more of thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary or adrenal neoplasm, where the complexity of the condition needs ongoing management by an endocrinologist (A98).
It must include the elements of a medical specific re-assessment, or it is paid as a lesser assessment (A98). It is not payable for evaluating or managing uncomplicated endocrine disorders (A98).

- Limited to 6 per patient per physician per 12 months, and 12 per patient per physician in 24 consecutive months; extras are paid at a lesser assessment fee (A98).
- E078 chronic disease assessment premium is not payable with A760 (A98).
- Can be billed by video or telephone as comprehensive virtual care with an existing patient-physician relationship; add K300A or K301A, and telephone pays 85% (AJ1, A70).
- Detention (K001) can only start after 60 minutes of a complex endocrine neoplastic disease assessment (GP30).
