What's included in the free plan?
Everything in Essential except Create Claim, for 5 minutes every 3 days: rejected and underpaid claims, all claims, charts, split reports, roster, and bonus tracking. Your time counts only while APEX is open and resets every 3 days at midnight (Eastern). No credit card to register, no upfront charges. Subscribe to Essential for unlimited access.
What's the difference between the paid plans?
Same product. Annual is billed once a year and costs less than paying week to week. Weekly is billed every week and you can cancel anytime.
What is the Full Billing Recovery add-on?
An add-on to Essential that opens the Correction Centre. APEX lines up the fix for each rejected claim and finds claims that were underpaid, then submits them once you approve. Turn on Auto-fix and it submits them for you.
How does pay as you go work?
There's no fixed fee. You pay 5% of what OHIP pays on each corrected error, and on each claim adjustment only on the fee code it added, like a missed after-hours premium. Q200A claims are paid through capitation, so instead of 5% it's a flat $2 per corrected Q200A claim. Nothing is charged until OHIP pays. Fees are worked out and charged on the 15th of each month, plus tax. The monthly and annual add-on plans replace the 5% with a flat rate.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Weekly can be cancelled anytime. Annual stays active through the billed year.
