• Must be for an indication in the CorHealth Standards for Provision of Echocardiography in Ontario in effect on the service date (J20).
• Peri-operative TEE is exempt from the accreditation, training and indication rules (J20).
• Not payable for routine pre-operative preparation or screening unless there is another clinical indication (J20).
