What it covers
A complex neuromuscular assessment is for the ongoing management of generalized peripheral neuropathies, myopathies, diseases of the neuromuscular junction or diseases of the motor neurone, where the complexity needs continuing management by a physiatrist (A176). It is not meant for uncomplicated disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome, Bell's palsy or asymptomatic diabetic neuropathy (A176).
A510 is the General Listings version; C510 and W510 are the in-patient and long-term care versions (A176, A178, A179).
