Questions
Is APEX cheaper than SnapBill?
Once OHIP pays you more than about $6,500 a month, APEX Essential (about $13 a month on the yearly plan) costs less than SnapBill Essentials (0.2%, capped at $34.99), and much less than the 1.5% Premium plan at any volume. Full Billing Recovery adds 5% of what OHIP pays on each fix, or a flat monthly fee.
Does APEX check claims before I submit them?
APEX checks health cards with the Ministry's HCV service in Create Claim and follows each file to Batch Edit. After the Ministry replies, the Correction Centre works out fixes for rejected claims for you to approve.
